OUR FINISHED CD!!!!

Hello Everyone!
Today has been a very stressful at Enrich@ILT. We have to finish our DYP and our CDs. But there is good news. We have finished our CD! Here we are with the finished copy:

We took about 15 sessions (20 hours) on doing this. We are having 3 each for our family and one for Enrich@ILT to remember us as we are leaving the  program next year :'( I am really happy with the way it turned out, and Tessa has too. We have come a very long way and we didn't think this would turn out that good.

Hello all of my Lil' Couch Potatoes! How are you guys? Good?

Was that a yes? Oh that's good. If you said no, that's sad.

Anyway, today at Enrich@ILT has obviously, by the title above...been busy! In fact, busy, busy, BUSY! The plan for the morning was to do DYP (Discovering Your Past) from after the roll to interval. I was working on my pictures and my country of importance, Denmark.

And I am Nervcited (nervous and excited) because the Spring Fling is in two weeks! I'm excited for dressing up, getting it over and done with, and especially trying the different foods!

CD COVER REVEAL!

Hi everyone!
Today at Enrich@ILT has been so awesome and filled with music! Guess why? Because I did GarageBand for 2/3 of the day! Tessa and I continued to make the cover and we changed it quite a heap! We scrapped the idea of our other one and we combined something together. Tessa made a cd cover that she liked and I made one that I liked. Then we combined them together and got this! (It's down below). I think it looks really cool especially with the half crazy and half not- and the headphones look so professional! The colours are really cool together. 

And, the font of the writing I LOVE! Here is Tessa and I doing GarageBand!

Hi Everyone 
Today at Enrich has been so fun and exciting!
We have done our strength based areas (GarageBand) and our passion projects (Also GarageBand).
I'm going to put up a picture of our OWN CD cover so far, because we did not use any pictures at all from the internet, and no ideas from the internet so this cover Tessa and I thought of ourselves. We then got called for another interview with Kady and Olivia for their project. (Hint: you better WATCH it when it comes out. If you didn't realise, WATCH as in TV was the hint). Garageband Galore!

Hi Everyone!

Today at Enrich has been so fun!

We started off the morning with Garageband with Paul. We learnt how to cut music to either shorten it or put it in a different place. Also when you are on Garageband it makes a ticking noise when it is playing, Paul taught us how to get rid of it. After morning tea, we did passion projects. We learnt how to get free loops and change the tempo.

Im Back!

Hello Everyone!

I'm back! Iv'e missed all of you couch potatoes!

Today at Enrich@ILT has been extremely busy. To start off the morning, we did 3 rotations. They were Digital Footprints with Paul, How to Handle Stress with Nicola and Tannembaum with Katie. I really liked the handling with stress one because when you came out you felt all floaty and peaceful, and it was quite fun just to doodle and be quiet. Also this afternoon we have been working on our discovery projects and making a tree because we have got all of our information done and photos done. I'm really excited to present it, but I don't know if I should use Prezi or a poster board. Anyway, I can't stress about it!

Passion Projects

Hi Everyone!
Today at Enrich has been a sad day.
Because it's the last day of term! But don't worry, I will see you next term. And the term after. Then I'm finished at Enrich ILT.
Today Tessa and I worked on our passion projects and got ALOT done!

Work, Work, Work!

Hello all of you couch potatoes!
Today at Enrich, it has been an absolute hard working day!
We did discovery and I went to 2/3 workshops today. One of them was about Aurasma and another was researching tools and tips. Unfortunately I couldn't get to Katie workshop because I had to do my reflection. Next week, Kady and Olivia are going to interview Tessa and I about our trip to the S.I.T Audio Productions, so I'm excited about that!

DJ!!!

HELLO Y'ALL!
Today has been a very exciting and nerve-wracking day at Enrich@ILT!
We started our passion projects after morning tea. If you read my last blog, you will know what I'm talking about. Tessa and I looked up local DJ's in Invercargill. We called about three but they failed. ;'( *tear*.  Then Paul gave us a awesome idea to call the audio production  at S.I.T, but they didn't answer.
We are going to try at lunch time to see if they answer.

HEY Y'ALL!

Howdy there, partners!
Today at Enrich was #A_M_A_Z_I_N_G!

Katie told us what we are doing for our next part of discovery. We are doing "Discovering Our Past". It means we are looking into where we come from and our ancestors and history. We are having a "Spring Fling" and it is when we if possible get our grandparents and they come to Enrich to have a shared lunch but there is a twist. Because its for discovery, we have to dress up in our culture costume (I have part Scottish in me) and bring food related to, for example (Scotland) I might bring shortbread and then do a presentation on my culture.  For example, if I was Irish I might wear Irish a dancing dress and shoes, bring soda bread, and do a speech on how this is important.

Today, at Enrich, it has been an absolute blast!                       
I have decided what passion                 project I'm doing!!! I am doing    
it with Tessa and we are                    
making                                                     an album full of our very own           original garageband songs.             
We are hoping to make a full           album with a CD cover and with a CD inside. We also want to                     release                                                                                                
it on iTunes ---------------------->(please do!!) .                      
So you guys can have a little snippet and if you        like it that much, you can buy it!                                            
I am really excited to get onto this project!

shape of the writing?

Hello my Peeps!
Today at Enrich so far, has been really fun! We did a multiple intelligences test. We had to fill in a couple of questions and at the end we saw what our result was. There is 8 different intelligences and they are linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual spatial, intrapersonal, interpersonal, musical, bodily-kinisthetic, and naturalistic. My top 2 highest ones were bodily kinesthetic because I love dance and musical because I love music. The results are above.

"Flight 221 from Auckland to Brisbane now boarding. Mia and Tessa please enter the gate".  I said as Paul videoed me on the iPad.

Today at Enrich I learnt something very new, awesome and exciting. Paul showed us this new app called Aurasma that can work on Apple and Android products. You focus the camera over the picture and then it comes up with a 3D video of what the picture was about. 

We got into groups of three and I was with Mia and Tessa and we went around the classroom, finding the pictures that had the Aurasma sign on it and watched the video by again, focusing the camera over the picture. There was one that had a One Direction Oreo video, A Spiderman one and a American one dollar bill. 

It was really interesting and cool how it was 3D and spiderman popped out of the picture! And, when I get home, I'm downloading the Aurasma app on my iPod- apparently it's free! YAY!

Hello Lil' Couch Potatoes!

So far at Enrich, today has been so awesome! This is my first blog post for 2014! Today we went into our second session of Thinker's Keys and I went with Katie. We put 10 things on a bucket list and I'm going to tell you what mine were.

1. See Titanic underwater

2. Go on a trip around the world with Tessa and Mia

3. Have my own cake-shop

4. Go on a shopping spree

5. Go on a water plane

6. Have my own modern house at Jack's Point

7. Have my own personal pizza oven

8. Win a Jaffa race

9. Go jet skiing

10. Become an Actor, songwriter, singer or a professional ballet dancer.

Well, Thats my bucket list!
